About the Service
What Secret Santa provides

Secret Santa is an online platform where game masters can create Secret Santa games for friends and family. Players take on two roles: a Secret Santa (gift giver) and a Child (gift receiver).

User Accounts
Account requirements and responsibilities
  • •You must provide a valid email address to create an account and participate in games
  • •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • •One account per person; one player participation per game
Game Rules
How games work and what you need to know

Before the Game Starts

  • •Only invited players can participate in a game
  • •Players must join and complete onboarding before the game starts

Once the Game Starts

  • •Player assignments are generated and cannot be changed
  • •No player will be assigned to themselves as their child
  • •Players cannot be added or removed
  • •Game masters cannot modify game settings

Game End

  • •Secret Santa names are revealed at the configured end time
Game Master Responsibilities
Your duties as a game organizer
  • •Only invite people you know and who have consented to play
  • •Configure game settings appropriately before starting the game
  • •Manage invitations and players responsibly
  • •Respect player privacy and game integrity

Note

A game master is also a player and follows the same game rules.

User Conduct
Expected behavior guidelines

You agree to:

  • •Provide accurate information during game participation
  • •Respect other players and use the service appropriately
  • •Not abuse, harass, or harm other participants
  • •Not attempt to manipulate or cheat the assignment system
Limitations
Important disclaimers and restrictions
  • •The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • •We are not responsible for disputes between players or outcomes of gift exchanges
  • •We reserve the right to terminate accounts or games that violate these terms
  • •Service availability is not guaranteed

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the information you provide (names, preferences, etc.). By using the service, you grant us permission to use this information to operate the games.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to the service for violations of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
